Alfa Omega Labs, Inc. is a state-of-the-art fluid dynamics, thermal, particle and acoustical testing laboratory, centrally located near Dallas, TX offering virtual testing with time stamped video data logging. The laboratory is fully equipped with automated supply and exhaust calibrated air flow stands, discharging into a pressurized sound chamber to accurately test acoustics, fluids, thermal and particle performance. Automated software with data collection modules and auto calibration functions quickly and accurately achieve the testing. The flow stands are 3rd party certified to +-1% flow accuracy above 100 cfm and +-1 cfm flow accuracy below 100 cfm. Examples include commercial and critical air devices such as air terminals with controllers, transducers, actuators, ionization, coil performance and air flow sensors with specified transitions and ductwork. Including supply and exhaust capabilities, as well as pressure barriers and monitoring, the laboratory can simulate conditions in a functioning bio-safety laboratory, operating room, wet lab and other similar pressure critical areas to evaluate the performance and acoustics of HVAC and control products for these applications. Side-by-side product comparison testing is available with time stamped video logging of all performance data including acoustics at specified data points, including cycle and repeatability testing. Actuator testing includes feedback and resolution accuracy on calibrated encoding stations. Particle testing such as air quality, ozone and ionization levels generated at the device, in the duct work and at the breathing zones are available.
